Photo of noctilucent
clouds (NLC's). What the exact chouse is is not exactly sure, but
it are very little dust particles with a minimum amount of frost on
them. This rare cloud type flows on an altitude of about 80 Kilometers
high, and because of that they glow even longer than the sky itself.
The orange glow in this photo is caused by city lights. The time was
23:56 (GMT +1). |
